Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-08-15

This privacy policy covers the marketing website dialecto.eu (information about the Dialecto product). The application itself, available at app.dialecto.eu, has its own privacy policy.

The German version of this page at /datenschutz is the legally controlling version. This English translation is provided for convenience.

1. Controller

Controller within the meaning of the GDPR and other national data protection laws:

Email: info@dialecto.eu

2. Data protection officer

We are not required to appoint a data protection officer (§ 38 BDSG in conjunction with Art. 37 GDPR). Please direct requests concerning your rights to the address given in section 1.

3. The short version

This website is a static information site. It uses:

  • no cookies and no local storage,
  • no analytics or tracking services, no marketing pixels,
  • no third-party content (no external fonts, scripts, or embeds) — all content is served from our own server,
  • no user accounts and no forms.

No consent under § 25 (1) TDDDG is required, because nothing is stored on or read from your device. The only data processing when you visit this website is the technically required server logging (section 4).

4. Provision of the website and log files

Each time our website is accessed, our system automatically collects data and information from the accessing computer system:

  • the user’s IP address
  • date and time of access
  • the requested URL
  • the referrer URL
  • the user agent (browser, operating system)
  • HTTP status code and transferred data volume

Legal basis: Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the error-free, secure, and performant operation of the website).

Retention: log files are deleted or anonymized by truncating the IP address after 14 days at the latest, unless security-relevant incidents require longer retention.

5. Contact by email

If you write to us by email, the transmitted data (sender address, message content, any attachments) is stored for the purpose of handling your inquiry.

Legal basis: Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering inquiries), or Art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR where the inquiry is directed at a contract.

Retention: until the matter is closed and no retention obligations remain.

6. Recipients and processors

We use the following processors (Art. 28 GDPR):

We take technical and organizational measures pursuant to Art. 32 GDPR to protect data against loss, destruction, manipulation, and unauthorized access, including in particular:

  • transport encryption of all connections via TLS (Let’s Encrypt)
  • serving exclusively static content — this website operates no database and processes no input
  • regular security updates of the software in use
  • access to production infrastructure restricted via SSH keys and firewall

9. Rights of the data subject

If your personal data is processed, you are a data subject within the meaning of the GDPR and have the following rights vis-à-vis the controller:

  • restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
